This little map has a lot of what we are going to see on it. Cusco is here in the lower right corner; that is our first stop. We then catch the train to Machu Picchu way up in the upper left - looks like about 80-100 kilometers away. The following day we catch a train to Ollantaytambo - about halfway to Machu Picchu (look in the middle of the map right under the mountain). On the way there or back, we swing through Pisac, in the upper right corner of the map. This area is known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
